
The Trilby sometimes called a ‘Crumpled Fedora’ is a shortened,angular hat. Simple and elegant dates back to the turn of the 20th century, 21st century saw a revival amongst the youth especially hipster and music.
Worn by The Blues Brothers 1970’s, it first made an appearance in 1895 in the theatre adaption of the novel by George Maurier
Trilby – the name refers to a young female worker ‘Trilby’ one of the main characters in the play.
