Vintage creamy cotton hand printed shirt, produced, designed in England for Workers For Freedom.
Workers for Freedom Soho London 1985-1992. Known for quality and the unique use of embroideries on women’s and men’s clothes, mainly using cotton, silk and wool as well as hand printed ethnic inspired details. They were awarded Designer of the year in 1989 at the British Fashion Awards.
Workers For Freedom clothes are held in archives at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
