FairIsle, named after one of the Shetland Islands, this small Island lies where the Atlantic ocean meets the North sea.
Handed down over many generations, FairIsle knitwear is a very skilled intricate work. Each piece is unique and every woman who produces a piece has drawn her inspiration from something, but that something is mostly unknown, perhaps one can imagine from the rugged cliffs, windswept beaches
