Making clothes last longer, invest in a good piece, a timeless piece that you love, it will make you smile every time you wear it. Favourites, that last forever. Today garments that are worn, no longer have time to age naturally they are churned out so quickly and discarded equally quickly before the wearer has blinked that there is no love in the items themselves, the workmanship, the textiles, the feeling, and the passion are missing.
I frequently get stopped in the street by people who say ‘I love your style’, from young to old male or female. Age, body shape, is not that important when it comes to choosing what you put on. It’s what it makes you feel. good and confident.
I love mixing clothes from different periods of time. Most of my wardrobe is vintage, pieces that have aged, maybe a little imperfect, a, tried not too hard approach to dressing, effortless.
